About The BSS Congress Of 2025
The BSS Congress is a powerful collaboration among students in the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Our mission is to empower fellow students with insights into future job opportunities while organizing inspiring lectures and workshops. This year's congress promises to be one of the most thrilling and transformative events to date. The congress takes place on 7th of May in the Euroborg!
This year's theme is "All Eyes on You: The Power is in Your Hands." We will explore the pressure of being in the spotlight, something we can experience in our daily lives, but also in our future jobs. During the day, there will be workshops given, a networkevent to meet and get in contact with companies, and there will be two amazing speakers who will give lectures; Nicolien Sauerbreij and Sophie Milzink!
Nicolien Sauerbreij is no stranger to the spotlight. As an Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding, she has experienced firsthand what it means to perform under pressure, push boundaries, and embrace both victory and adversity on the world stage. Nicolien will share her insights on what it takes to thrive in the spotlight!
Sophie Milzink, a successful social media content creator, will shine a light on what it truly means to live and work in the spotlight. She will explore the opportunities and pitfalls of digital fame, the responsibility that comes with influence, and how we can all take control of our digital presence in a world that never stops watching.
Our congress will be hosted by our one and only dr. Kees Keizer! As a researcher, writer and speaker in the field of Behavioral and perception influence, he will guide you throughout the congress!
We hope to see you there!
