About the Committee

BSS 2026
From Left to Right

Top Row: Nora, Nienke, Denis - Middle Row: Tinkara, Monika, Alexandra - Bottom Row: Amelie and Ana

Monika: Our hardworking and organised Chair makes sure the team is on track and handles meetings with the Supervisory Board. She oversees our decision-making, ensuring that everyone gives their input, and always supports the committee when we need it. She also leads our meetings and writes the agenda for the week. She is in her second year of the Psychology Bachelor. Outside the committee she always has time to rewatch the same five TV-shows or movies, and can eat an unhealthy amount of cheese (when she chooses too of course).

Ana: She is our responsible and diligent Secretary in her second year of her Psychology Bachelor. Her work brings structure to the committee by keeping track of our meetings through minute-taking and letting us know of our tasks for the week. She communicates with other committees and helps sell tickets. Additionally she tracks our emails so that we can communicate smoothly. In her spare time she likes having coffee with friends, has cooking as a hobby and reading.

Denis: He is our third year Psychology Bachelor Treasurer. He manages finances, collaborates with the VIP Treasurer and helps monitor our spending. He also sets the price of our tickets and budget so that we can properly make use of the funds we have. When he's not busy with spreadsheets he likes to cook stews, read fiction and sports. You can also feel free to ask him about the Witcher Universe or Game of Thrones.

Nora: She is one half of the Promotion department of the committee. She works on the creative and technical aspects of the promotion process by updating the website and socials. She also helps with the merch and theme creation. Like the majority, she is in her second year of the Psychology Bachelor and enjoys watching movies (any kind), playing volleyball (at the amateur level) and spending time with friends.

Tinkara: The second half of the Promotion department also takes on the role of disseminating information ahead of the Congress and taking on the duty to create posters according to our theme. She makes sure that people are updated on our progress with clear and concise posts. Outside of being a second year in Psychology she loves staying active and enjoys hikes, adventures with friends, and staying with family. Additionally singing and dancing in her living room (helpful to relieve stress).

Nienke: She is our Day Organiser, who is studying a Pre-Master in Educational Innovation. Her role is to reach out to interesting speakers, the venue and collaborate with acquisition and treasurer when creating contracts. She makes sure that the Congress can actually happen and is in charge of the schedule and external communication. She is also our Dutch help, by making sure we can communicate with the community and companies that we meet in a professional manner. Outside the committee she enjoys playing tennis (also with an association) and coffee with friends.

Amelie: Once again is one half of the Acquisition department of the committee (who is also in her second year of Psychology). She takes on half the work of emailing companies and organisations to secure funding for our Congress. Her work also looks for companies that can host workshops and appear at our networking event. When securing contracts or agreements we also give the opportunity of sponsorships. She likes to watch movies or shows with friends, reading and having good company around. Plus she likes things that are fluffy and have four legs, aka animals.

Alexandra: As a second year student of the Psychology program she takes on the second half of the responsibility of Acquisition. She emails and calls potential companies and makes sure to offer our sponsorship packages or workshop opportunities. She helps secure funding for the Congress and communicates with the Treasurer when finalising contracts. In her free time she is an avid baker (especially cupcakes), enjoys taking hikes and exploring new cafes.
